Do suicide hotlines call 911 on a caller if that person is in immediate danger of harming themselves ?

Do suicide hotlines call 911 on a caller who is in immediate danger of harming themselves ?

And what if the caller is planning on committing suicide but doesn't want any help to be sent, will they respect that ?

And do they put the caller on hold , and tell the caller that they are calling 911 or do they just call without telling, or is it someone else who calls ?

And can 911 track down home adresses and cell phones ?|||911 can track a cell phone.. it depends what type of class of phone (Im not going to get technical) but when you call 911 from a cell phone it will usually hit within so many feet of where the call is coming from. Sometimes it will be with in 2,000 or more feet, and sometimes maybe 6 feet... but it all depends.. If you didnt call 911 then 911 dispatchers can call your cell provider and get the last location your cell phone was used.. the X%26amp;Y coordinates and track it like that..|||Do you people realize that she has asked this question several times and now is MIA on the site? You've gotta be careful what kind of answer you give to a question like this!!

|||If they knew that the person they were talking to was seriously about to hurt themselves or already was then they can 911 for an ambulance. They will not just let someone hurt themselves without doing anything about it. 911 can track your house phone but not your cellphone. If this is you or a friend you know, pray for them. Talk them out of it and tell them that its not worth it. They need to be living the life they want to live. Right now they aren't thats why they aren't happy. Be there for them and I will pray as well, whether if its you or a friend.|||Yes, No, No, Yes they call without telling, and Yes 911 can track down your home address better than cellphones.|||i doubt all of that , but whhy doess thiss interest you ?
