After a D & C how many months need to get another pregnancy? Is it advisable an immediate pregnancy?

Is it advisable an immediate pregnancy after a D%26amp;C . D%26amp;C was happened because of low growth after 2 months. How many months really advisable to get a healthy pregnancy? Please advise|||After a complicated miscarriage resulting in an infection and finally a D%26amp;C, my OB/GYN advised we wait until my period returned to 'normal' and then have at least 3 normal cycles before trying to fall pregnant again. I know people can and do fall pregnant immediately after a D%26amp;C but we were strongly advised to wait in order to give ourselves the best chance of a healthy pregnancy. We did fall pregnant again, and our baby girl is now 5mths old :-) Good luck!
