Can anybody recommend a joint supplement for horses that has immediate results?

When my horse lays or stands too long his joints make alot of popping/crackling noises and he limps around. But once he walks around for a couple of minutes it all goes away. Can anybody recommend a joint supplement that has immediate results? Thanks|||I use a daily joint supplement on my older horses. It really seems to make a difference. And if that's not the issue it won't hurt to give it to them either way. You won't see an immediate improvement. It has to build up in the system. All feed stores sell several to choose from. I prefer Acti Flex. It's a powder that tastes like alfalfa. You just add it to his feed. Good luck!|||I would recommend massage for results that are more immediate than using glucosamine. What it sounds like is his muscles and tendons have tightened up and the popping noise can be the tight tendon 'popping' over the joint. In many ways it's like us when we get up in the morning and it might hurt to walk until our muscles have loosened up a little. Stretches and the like are good for horse just as they are for us.
