What is there to do in the immediate area of the navy boot camp grad?

My boyfriend is graduating from Navy Bootcamp in Chicago and he's a Grad%26amp;Go which means we only have 2 hours to spend time after the ceremony. Are there restaurants or indoor places to sit and chat in the immediate vicinity of the base?|||After grad for me, we had the weekend off before shipping to Germany. Every city in the area has things to do, even if he just wants to show you around the base and be with you.|||THERE ARE ALOT of stuff around there like that.|||Head west a few miles on Grand Avenue to Gurnee, IL. There's a mall and plenty of restaurants - there will probably be tons of cabs waiting at the base if you don't have a car.|||From my experience... after graduation we were put on a bus and taken to the airport. I had my mom meet me there and we had lunch and time to talk.
