Can I mix Adderall immediate-release tablets with extended release capsules?

I'm having trouble getting things done that i need to, and my friend has Adderall immediate-release tablets AND xr capsules. She gave me both to test out and i was wondering if it's okay to use both? not at the same time obviously, but like every-other day or smt.|||yes, there is no problem doing that as long as they are taken aprox the same time. Make sure not to mix them at the same time on the same day. too much ampheitimine will definatly not help you focus, quite the oppisite. |||I'm sure it'll be ok.

a noticable change inbehaviour, increase in fears, not wanting to go certain places, near certain people, perhaps crying, notiable physical brusing or that the child is in pain, wetting themselves, being nervous, being quiet, talking about secrets, talk of a sexual nature or sexual gestures...there are a lot of things that you may notice and at the same time a child could have been abused and you would never know as they don't show obvious signs. You may have to montor the situation before doing anything but if you suspect abuse or rape then perhaps ask the child but do so in a safe inevironment and let them know that its ok to tell and be calm if they do tell you anything, remember your reactions are so important if a child trusts you enough to disclose that type of information !

Or they may do the exact opposite. Each case is different and hard to tell sometimes. Just watch for signs of anything highly unusual in their manner. If the child trusts you or one of your colleges maybe the one that is trusted should sit the child down and talk to them about it. A child shouldn't have to carry something like this by themselves. Ice it, take some pain medication, and wait for about a week. If swelling gets worse, go the doctor, if it gets better, it was probably just a bad bump.

My book was accepted by publishers on December 19th. After contracts were signed and traveled back and forth, my advance check was dated January 17th.

Why do women always want an immediate answer when a man has to choose between multiple women?

It all depends on what your drug of choice was before the suboxone. If it was methadone, for example, you need to wait til the methadone clears your system...which can take many days. choose continuous and not single|||It probably all comes down to which lens is attached to the body. If it's a slow lens, then it WILL have to spend time focusing, especially in low light.|||You can also pre-focus (switch the lens to MANUAL focus), and it should decrease the delay to almost nothing since it does not have to focus.

It goes without saying that you need to make sure the subject is in focus.|||Are you shooting in low light (indoors)?

This is a GLOBAL issue, not just one country. China and India's usage of crude has increased a lot. The issues in the middle east have contributed. The U.S. continues to use more and more gas. No new refineries have been build a long time, so the current aging ones have to be shut down for maintenance. And many, many other reasons why the price is increasing.

But, there are things YOU can do to lower how much you spend. If you have a long commute, find a new job closer to your home. Buy a car with better gas mileage. Drive the speed limit. Use cruise control. Ride a bike or walk if it's a short trip. If you have many errands a week, do them all in the same trip rather than spread them out. |||It was your choice to live where you live. It was your choice to buy the car that you own. How did you vote on public transportation bonds? Have you made it clear to candidates running for public office how necessary it is to have public transportation in your community? The immediate solution for someone who cannot walk, ride a bike, use public transportation, or move closer to work is to join or form a carpool, combine driving tasks and drive smarter and less, or buy a hybrid or lower mileage vehicle.|||The first thing that should be done is for the government to stop filling the strategic petroleum reserve and begin to sell oil from it. At these prices we will make a nice profit. The second thing that should be done is for all tariffs to be lifted on Ethanol from Brazil or any other country, we have a 50 cents per gallon tariff on Brazilian Ethanol now and it can't compete against corn Ethanol here. The third thing that should be done is introduce big incentives or subsudies to any company that develops electric cars and trucks, we have the technolgy so lets get on with it.|||Short term solution or long term?

Oil prices are high for a variety of reasons. First is speculation on the market. There are a lot of investors sticking money into oil hoping to make a buck and that helps drive the price per barrel higher. On top of that we have a nearly worthless dollar which inflates the price to compete with the Euro and other currencies that are doing much better as far as stability. (Oil is sold in US$ only)

If half the people dropped their stock in oil the price would come down within a week. If the dollar were strengthened the price would come down ever further. If we opened the oil reserves we could drop it even lower.

But those are all short-term and far from immediate. We could, in theory, drop the tax on sugarcane-based ethanol imports from Brazil and that would offer a fair amount of relief but that would still be temporary. There is no long-term solution outside of moving away from oil.

This goes for using '10 strips' for all of your appliances and unplugging said strip from the wall when leaving for work, everything plugged into an outlet is drawing electricity, which is consuming energy, which is driving up energy costs.

Car-pooling for work, someone lives within 5-10 minutes of you most likely....

not running the A/C nearly as often....your body will adjust believe it or not.

We cannot rely on our government for this solution, we must take this into our own hands. To me, energy is like water. There is only so much of it and if you take it from location 'a' people in location 'b' are going to want more as well. We need to conserve and starve 'the beast.' Until they see significant drops in consumption, the price will remain high or continue to increase. They are trying to feel out the market and we as a nation have yet to respond....|||Stop buying it. The price of gas is based on supply and demand, and since the liberal democrat environmentalists will not allow any new domestic oil production, then the only answer is to reduce demand, and then the price will go down.

Additional: Yes, you cannot stop buying all your gas, but you can reduce the amount you buy. We are competing with China, India, Europe for approx. 57 Million Barrel being produced daily. We consume 22 Million Barrels per day which is approx 35-40% of the total world consumption . Many companies could purchasse buses to transport workers .|||There isn't one just as there is no instant solution to the weakness of the dollar. And, given the new 'designer' fuels like ethynol, it cost more to manufacture gasoline, gasoline which, by the way, decreases the efficiency of the average vehicle by about 10% which means that we need that much more fuel to do the same thing, which increases demand.|||reduce consumption...if you can't afford gas to and from work every week, but still have a home and computer my guess is that your spending could use some reform...

...if you have a 401k or other investments call up the portfolio manager and tell them to divest from all petroleum related investments (if your investments have shown a gain over the last twenty years, trust me, they're in there)...

You could alter glucose so that it would be easier to liberate energy from it, but you'd be making it more and more similar to ATP. Also, ATP has the advantage that it can be hydrolyzed to either ADP + Pi or AMP + PPi, allowing different reactions to utilize ATP differently.

12814.6. (a) Except as provided in Section 12814.7, a driver's license issued to a person at least 16 years of age but under 18 years of age shall be issued pursuant to the provisional licensing program contained in this section. The program shall consist of all of the following components:

(1) Upon application for an original license, the applicant shall be issued an instruction permit pursuant to Section 12509. A person who has in his or her immediate possession a valid permit issued pursuant to Section 12509 may operate a motor vehicle, other than a motorcycle or motorized bicycle, only when the person is either taking the driver training instruction referred to in paragraph (3) or practicing that instruction, provided the person is accompanied by, and is under the immediate supervision of, a California licensed driver 25 years of age or older whose driving privilege is not on probation. The age requirement of this paragraph does not apply if the licensed driver is the parent, spouse, or guardian of the permitholder or is a licensed or certified driving instructor.

(2) The person shall hold an instruction permit for not less than six months prior to applying for a provisional driver's license.

(3) The person shall have complied with one of the following:

(A) Satisfactory completion of approved courses in automobile driver education and driver training maintained pursuant to provisions of the Education Code in any secondary school of California, or equivalent instruction in a secondary school of another state.

(B) Satisfactory completion of an integrated driver education and training program that is approved by the department and conducted by a driving instructor licensed under Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 11100) of Division 5. The program shall utilize segmented modules, whereby a portion of the educational instruction is provided by, and then reinforced through, specific behind-the-wheel training before moving to the next phase of driver education and training. The program shall contain a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel training.

(C) Satisfactory completion of six hours or more of behind-the-wheel instruction by a driving school or an independent driving instructor licensed under Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 11100) of Division 5 and either an accredited course in automobile driver education in any secondary school of California pursuant to provisions of the Education Code or satisfactory completion of equivalent professional instruction acceptable to the department. To be acceptable to the department, the professional instruction shall meet minimum standards to be prescribed by the department, and the standards shall be at least equal to the requirements for driver education and driver training contained in the rules and regulations adopted by the State Board of Education pursuant to the Education Code. A person who has complied with this subdivision shall not be required by the governing board of a school district to comply with subparagraph (A) in order to graduate from high school.

(D) Except as provided under subparagraph (B), a student may not take driver training instruction, unless he or she has successfully completed driver education.

(4) The person shall complete 50 hours of supervised driving practice prior to the issuance of a provisional license, which is in addition to any other driver training instruction required by law. Not less than 10 of the required practice hours shall include driving during darkness, as defined in Section 280. Upon application for a provisional license, the person shall submit to the department the certification of a parent, spouse, guardian, or licensed or certified driving instructor that the applicant has completed the required amount of driving practice and is prepared to take the department's driving test. A person without a parent, spouse, guardian, or who is an emancipated minor, may have a licensed driver 25 years of age or older or a licensed or certified driving instructor complete the certification. This requirement does not apply to motorcycle practice.

(5) The person shall successfully complete an examination required by the department. Before retaking a test, the person shall wait for not less than one week after failure of the written test and for not less than two weeks after failure of the driving test.

(b) Except as provided in Section 12814.7, the provisional driver's license shall be subject to all of the following restrictions:

(1) Except as specified in paragraph (2), during the first 12 months after issuance of a provisional license the licensee may not do any of the following unless accompanied and supervised by a licensed driver who is the licensee鈥檚 parent or guardian, a licensed driver who is 25 years of age or older, or a licensed or certified driving instructor::

(A) Drive between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

(B) Transport passengers who are under 20 years of age.

(2) A licensee may drive between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. or transport an immediate family member without being accompanied and supervised by a licensed driver who is the licensee鈥檚 parent or guardian, a licensed driver who is 25 years of age or older, or a licensed or certified driving instructor, in the following circumstances:

(3) A licensee may drive between the hours of 12 midnight and 5 a.m. or transport an immediate family member without being accompanied and supervised by a licensed driver who is the licensee's parent or guardian, a licensed driver who is 25 years of age or older, or a licensed or certified driving instructor, in the following circumstances:

(A) Medical necessity of the licensee when reasonable transportation facilities are inadequate and operation of a vehicle by a minor is necessary. The licensee shall keep in his or her possession a signed statement from a physician familiar with the condition, containing a diagnosis and probable date when sufficient recovery will have been made to terminate the necessity.

(B) Schooling or school-authorized activities of the licensee when reasonable transportation facilities are inadequate and operation of a vehicle by a minor is necessary. The licensee shall keep in his or her possession a signed statement from the school principal, dean, or school staff member designated by the principal or dean, containing a probable date that the schooling or school-authorized activity will have been completed.

(C) Employment necessity of the licensee when reasonable transportation facilities are inadequate and operation of a vehicle by a minor is necessary. The licensee shall keep in his or her possession a signed statement from the employer, verifying employment and containing a probable date that the employment will have been completed.

(D) Necessity of the licensee or the licensee's immediate family member when reasonable transportation facilities are inadequate and operation of a vehicle by a minor is necessary to transport the licensee or the licensee's immediate family member. The licensee shall keep in his or her possession a signed statement from a parent or legal guardian verifying the reason and containing a probable date that the necessity will have ceased.

(E) The licensee is an emancipated minor.

(c) A law enforcement officer may not stop a vehicle for the sole purpose of determining whether the driver is in violation of the restrictions imposed under subdivision (b).

(d) (1) Upon a finding that any licensee has violated paragraph (1) of subdivision (b), the court shall impose one of the following:

(A) Not less than eight hours nor more than 16 hours of community service for a first offense and not less than 16 hours nor more than 24 hours of community service for a second or subsequent offense.

(B) A fine of not more than thirty-five dollars ($35) for a first offense and a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50) for a second or subsequent offense.

(2) If the court orders community service, the court shall retain jurisdiction until the hours of community service have been completed.

(3) If the hours of community service have not been completed within 90 days, the court shall impose a fine of not more than thirty-five dollars ($35) for a first offense and not more than fifty dollars ($50) for a second or subsequent offense.

(e) A conviction of paragraph (1) of subdivision (b), when reported to the department, may not be disclosed as otherwise specified in Section 1808 or constitute a violation point count value pursuant to Section 12810.

(f) Any term of restriction or suspension of the driving privilege imposed on a person pursuant to this subdivision shall remain in effect until the end of the term even though the person becomes 18 years of age before the term ends.

(1) The driving privilege shall be suspended when the record of the person shows one or more notifications issued pursuant to Section 40509 or 40509.5. The suspension shall continue until any notification issued pursuant to Section 40509 or 40509.5 has been cleared.

(2) A 30-day restriction shall be imposed when a driver's record shows a violation point count of two or more points in 12 months, as determined in accordance with Section 12810. The restriction shall require the licensee to be accompanied by a licensed parent, spouse, guardian, or other licensed driver 25 years of age or older, except when operating a class M vehicle, or so licensed, with no passengers aboard.

(3) A six-month suspension of the driving privilege and a one-year term of probation shall be imposed whenever a licensee's record shows a violation point count of three or more points in 12 months, as determined in accordance with Section 12810. The terms and conditions of probation shall include, but not be limited to, both of the following:

(A) The person shall violate no law which, if resulting in conviction, is reportable to the department under Section 1803.

(B) The person shall remain free from accident responsibility.

(g) Whenever action by the department under subdivision (f) arises as a result of a motor vehicle accident, the person may, in writing and within 10 days, demand a hearing to present evidence that he or she was not responsible for the accident upon which the action is based. Whenever action by the department is based upon a conviction reportable to the department under Section 1803, the person has no right to a hearing pursuant to Article 3 (commencing with Section 14100) of Chapter 3.

(h) The department shall require a person whose driving privilege is suspended or revoked pursuant to subdivision (f) to submit proof of financial responsibility as defined in Section 16430. The proof of financial responsibility shall be filed on or before the date of reinstatement following the suspension or revocation. The proof of financial responsibility shall be maintained with the department for three years following the date of reinstatement.

(i) (1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, the department may issue a distinctive driver's license, that displays a distinctive color or a distinctively colored stripe or other distinguishing characteristic, to persons at least 16 years of age and older but under 18 years of age, and to persons 18 years of age and older but under 21 years of age, so that the distinctive license feature is immediately recognizable. The features shall clearly differentiate between drivers' licenses issued to persons at least 16 years of age or older but under 18 years of age and to persons 18 years of age or older but under 21 years of age.

(2) If changes in the format or appearance of drivers' licenses are adopted pursuant to this subdivision, those changes may be implemented under any new contract for the production of drivers' licenses entered into after the adoption of those changes.

(j) The department shall include, on the face of the provisional driver's license, the original issuance date of the provisional driver's license in addition to any other issuance date.

(k) This section shall be known and may be cited as the Brady-Jared Teen Driver Safety Act of 1997.

How do Jews mourn the *spiritual death* of immediate family members who convert to another religion? Is there such a thing as Jewish *excommunication*|||We need to clarify: a Jew who converts to ANY other religion, becomes an Apostate, and EX Jew.

In the majority of cases, there is no 'shiva', and should not be. Maybe in very Orthodox families something like this happens, but I don't think it's common. I hope it isn't, anyway.

The Jewish equivalent to excommunication is 'cherem'. Again, I don't think this happens very often, if at all.

There are *some* people in this forum who wrongly state that a Jew remains 'jewish' EVEN after becoming a Hindu/Christian/Muslim. This is simply ***not* true.

The idea that a person has 'jewish blood' and can never quite leave Judaism was populated by Hitler. Only those people who, in effect, agree with that Nazi definition of 'jewish' hold the insane belief that a person who becomes a practising Christian/Hindu etc can still also be 'jewish'.

However while the emotions may run high, you would not sit shiva for the person converting. They are not dead. They may be personna non grata, but they are not deceased. There is no ceremony to observe this happening. There is no formal ritual to mark someone leaving the religion.
