I am feeling lethargy and sometimes shaking and then feel really weak. Maybe I have not slept enough . Is there any immediate remedy, such as food, that can help to gain back my energy?|||If you are a diabetic.
When you feel like that.
First check your glucose level with a glucometer.
If it is low drink orange juice or regular cola (NOT diet) or eat some sugary candy (NOT chocolate) or a spoonful or two of regular table sugar.
If you have not been diagnosed as a diabetic get to your doctor and get checked!

|||I usually find that I need protein if my body is feeling shaky or weak. Put some peanut butter onto a piece of bread (whole wheat, if you have it) fold it over into a half sandwich and eat. It works for me. Keep protein bars around for the same reason! Try to avoid the instant sugar-caffeine fix, because it picks you up and then drops you- leaving you feeling worse than before. You could also try taking a multivitamin. B12 is excellent as well to feel balanced.
Good luck!|||If you are diabetic, you should check your sugar before eating, but if you suspect low blood glucose levels, then orange juice should bring it back up.
You could try making smoothies with fruit juice and raw veggies (spinach, broccoli, etc) blended in. It will be green, but the orange juice or apple juice or pineapple juice will make it taste good. It should only be done within the framework of how much juice you are allowed in your diabetic diet.|||Normal people (without diabetes) usually dont shake their hands when hungry. So you better to check your sugar level for confirmation. And if you already notice then, you can just have some orange juice with added sugar. Its helps in 5mins for me.
