How does immediate payment work on ebay?

The item that I am looking at says immediate payment is required. When I click buy it now, I get taken to the checkout page rather than confirm my purchase page. If I buy the item this way, do I pay first, and then confirm purchase?|||Immediate payment means everything is taken care of right then and there. When you click "buy it now," you are already confirming your purchase. Just fill out the payment process as you normally would. All the seller wants you to do is pay right away, rather than taking several days to pay.
